Lebanon Kroger pharmacy tech caught on video stealing cornucopia of pills

31-year-old Meagin Maddox, a pharmacy technician at the 1418 West Main Street Kroger in Lebanon, was charged with theft of property after loss prevention personnel caught her on camera stealing pills while handling customer orders.

On May 14th, Detective Justin Sandefur of the Lebanon Police Department responded to an embezzlement investigation going on at a local Kroger. Five videos of Maddox stealing pills were shown to Sandefur by Kroger loss prevention.

Maddox gave a written statement detailing the drugs stolen: oxycodone, hydrocodone, Klonopin, Xanax, buprenorphine, diazepam, phentermine and Ambien. The pharmacy technician said she lifted the drugs from mid-March to her dismissal on May 12, 2020.

Meagin Maddox was arrested and charged with theft of property. Her bond was set at $1,500.
