Lebanon man seen driving with no headlights charged with DUI

51-year-old Regino Gonzalez was charged with driving under the influence after found to be intoxicated during a traffic stop for driving with no headlights.

On September 20th, Lebanon Police Corporal Kevin Ragland observed Regino Gonzalez driving a Toyota Scion on South Maple Street near West Spring Street without headlights at night.

When the corporal interviewed Gonzalez he noted an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath, red and watery eyes, as well as slurred speech. Gonzalez submitted to a Standardized Field Sobriety Test and exhibited clues of impairment. He was placed into custody.

Regino Gonzalez was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. His bond was set at $1,500 with condition.
