Lafayette woman found blitzed at Circle K, gives LPD false identity

22-year-old Haley Lewis was charged with criminal impersonation and public intoxication when police found her unable to control her bodily movements and slurring her speech when she told them her name was Courtney Lester.

On September 17th, Lebanon Police Officer Robert was dispatched to the Circle K located on 1309 West Main Street. He found Haley Lewis, who could not control her body, slurring her speech, and unsteady on her feet.

When police spoke with Lewis, she told them her name was Courtney Lester and her birthdate was February 19th, 1999. Upon further investigation, they discovered she was Haley Lewis with the birthdate on October 2nd, 1997. For her safety and that of the general public, she was placed in custody.

Haley Lewis was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation and public intoxication. Her bond was set at $1,000.
