20-year-old Charles Green was charged with vandalism, theft of property, and aggravated burglary after he broke into a residence and broke several items while stealing tools, electronics, and weapons.
On August 24th, the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary. It was reported that Charles Green entered the property at 260 Barton Brook Lane after breaking the window in the back door to gain entry. Charles then stole a TV, surround sound system, shotgun, old knives, and a few other unlisted items. During the act, he destroyed several other items in the home.
Then he broke into the owner’s outdoor shop and made off with tools, a compressor, car wheels, and a few other items. The exact value of the items was not estimated, however, officers estimated the total amount of stolen items to be more than $1,000. Officers were not able to verify the full value of property vandalized during the burglary.
Charles Green was arrested and charged with vandalism, theft of property, and aggravated burglary. His bond was set at $5,000.
