49-year-old Petra Carey was charged with domestic assault after she admitted to police that she got angry with her husband and pushed him several times during an argument about a past cheating incident.
On August 29th, MJPD Officer Casey Clark was dispatched to 1011 Carriage Trail in reference to a domestic assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with Petra Carey, who reported that she and her husband Darryl Carey were in an argument about a cheating incident that occurred a year and a half ago.
Petra stated that she became irate and began to push and hit Darryl. At that time, Officer Clark deemed Petra as being the primary aggressor.
Petra Carey was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later released on her own recognizance.
