Teen who wants to ride up front with mac-n-cheese hits mom and sister; returns months later for more

19-year-old Mario Bell, Jr. was charged with domestic assault after assaulting his mother and juvenile sister in July and then violating his conditions of release by showing up at his mother’s house and throwing her down the stairs.

On July 26th, Lebanon Field Training Officer Matt Wigger was dispatched to 1079 Hartmann Plantation Circle to a domestic call. Officer Wigger spoke to Mario Bell, Jr. who stated that his mom was going to take him to work and he wanted to sit in the front seat. Mario stated that he became angry at his juvenile sister and hit her in the face while holding his macaroni and cheese. Bell then told the officer that he went back into the residence and microwaved another macaroni and cheese then hit his mother, Amber Bell in the face and threw her down in the parking lot.

Officer Wigger made a notation of facial bruising on both sides of Amber’s face and abrasions and bruising from being thrown to the ground. A witness Gabrielle Smith, saw Mario throw his mother down. He was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Mario was released on his own recognizance with conditions.

On September 13th, Lebanon Police Officer Tucker Robert was dispatched to 1079 Hartmann Plantation regarding a domestic assault. The officer spoke with Amber Bell who stated that Mario had come to the residence and was told by his dad that he was not supposed to be there. Amber stated that she and Mario were at the top of the stairs when he shoved his mother down the stairs stating that he did not want her to be there before going down the stairs and kicking Amber in her side. Mario had signed conditions of release stating that he would have no contact with Amber Bell prior to his release from jail.

Mario Bell was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and violation of conditions of release. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
