38-year-old Mavis Mayo was charged with driving on revoked and possession of heroin when WPD pulled her over for having her high beams on and then found heroin on her after they transported her to booking.
On September 15th, Watertown Police Department Officer Lepter conducted a traffic stop on Mavis Mayo for failing to dim her high beams while driving.
A computer search revealed Mayo’s license was revoked for failure to appear out of Lavergne City Court in December of 2017. She was placed into custody and transported to booking, where she was searched and Deputy Baliel found a plastic box in her crotch. Mayo told the deputy it was heroin.
Mavis Mayo was arrested and charged with driving on revoked and possession of heroin. Her bond was set at $1,200.
