57-year-old Michael Smith was charged with DUI after he admitted consuming a few drinks prior to driving.
On September 27th, Lebanon Police Officer Taylor was asked by Sergeant Pruitte to back him up on a DUI traffic stop at West Main Street and Dawson Lane.
Upon arrival, contact was made with Michael Smith who had slurred speech, red watery eyes, and a strong odor of an intoxicant. After being offered two sobriety tests, that had to be stopped for his safety, Michael admitted to consuming a few drinks prior to driving.
Michael Smith was arrested and charged with DUI. He was released on his own recognizance.
