33-year-old Ricky Cooper was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia after crack was found in his waistband during a traffic stop for a broken brake light.
On October 9th, Lebanon Police Department Officer Hulse initiated a traffic stop for a brake light. Officer Hulse summoned the K-9 unit after making contact with the driver, Ricky Cooper. The K-9 unit was alerted to a controlled substance on the passenger side of the vehicle.
While searching Cooper’s person, a small envelope of crack cocaine and a small pipe was found in the waistband of his pants. Another small pipe was located in a search of the vehicle.
Ricky Cooper, Jr. was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.
