42-year-old Carolyn Pfaff was charged with her second DUI and implied consent after claiming to not be drunk then failing sobriety tests performed by Highway Patrol Trooper.

On October 17th, Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper De’Wunya Topps received a call on Murfreesboro Road of an intoxicated driver, later identified as Carolyn Pfaff. Trooper Topps observed her getting into and starting her vehicle but stopped her before she could begin driving.

When asked, Pfaff stated that she had not been drinking although a strong odor of alcohol was coming off her. She exhibited signs of intoxication, such as slurred speech, unsteadiness on her feet, and confusion. Trooper Topps completed several sobriety tests and Pfaff performed poorly on all of them.

Carolyn Pfaff was arrested and charged with DUI and implied consent. She was released on a $2,000 bond.
