29-year-old Billy Dean Woodard was charged with violation of an order of protection after police witnessed him jumping out of a car and into another with the protected party.
On October 18th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Fulton was on patrol when he noticed a male and female in a vehicle in a Lowe’s parking lot, located at 300 Pleasant Grove Road. He stopped when both noticed him and moved from one vehicle to another.
Reportedly, Officer Fulton stated that he noticed their behavior to be indicative of criminal activity. When Officer Fulton did a computer check revealing the male to be Billy Dean Woodard. He had an active order of protection and the protected party, Ashley Woodard, was the female present with him.
Billy Dean Woodard was arrested and charged with violation of an order of protection. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
