45-year-old Floyd Smith Jr. was charged with aggravated assault after punching his father in the mouth which caused him to fall on a coffee table, hurting his back.
On September 28th, Lebanon Police Officer Martin was dispatched to an aggravated assault at 941 Carthage Highway.
Upon arrival, contact was made with Floyd Smith who told officers his son Floyd Smith Jr. arrived home angry and punched him in his mouth. The punch knocked out his front tooth. After, he told his father that if he called the police he would come back and kill him.
Floyd Smith Jr. was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and his bond was set at $7,500.
