Kenya refused to let him in and at that point, Jason took the air conditioner out of the window and placed his phone on the ledge in an attempt to gain entry. Officers later made contact with Jason who had dried blood on his face and had no idea how it got there. He also had the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person.

Jason Hastings was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated burglary, public intoxication, two counts of violation of probation, and two counts of possession for resale. His total bond was set at $65,000.
