45-year-old Corey Miller was charged with simple possession and driving on a revoked license after an LPD officer noticed a suspicious vehicle registered to a revoked driver.
On August 20th, during a routine patrol on Murfreesboro Road, Lebanon Police Officer Taylor observed a suspicious vehicle. A computer check on the registration revealed it belonged to Corey Miller whose license was revoked. Another check revealed Miller had three prior convictions in Davidson County for driving on a revoked license on September 1st, 2011, December 28th, 2010, and November 29th, 2010.
Officer Taylor stated he observed Miller driving and conducted a traffic stop, where he confirmed his identity. Miller consented to a vehicle search where the officer found two green and pink pills in the console which field-tested positive for amphetamine.
On September 16th, Corey Miller was arrested and charged with driving while revoked and simple possession. He was later released on his own recognizance.
