18-year-old Travontez Turner was charged with theft of property and possession of marijuana after he was caught in a stolen vehicle and found with a bud of marijuana.
On October 9th, Officer Troutman’s license plate reader indicated a stolen vehicle in a Dicks Sporting Goods parking lot.
The stolen vehicle was a 2013 Chevy Gold Equinox reported being stolen out of La Vergne, Tennessee. After Officer Troutman made contact with Travontez Turner, he conducted a search of his left pant pocket resulted in finding a small bud of marijuana.
Travontez Turner was arrested and charged with theft of property and possession of marijuana. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $16,000 bond.
