Old Hickory man pulled over outside his house; popped for cocaine and weed

31-year-old Domonic Strong-Williams was charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia when police saw drugs inside his car during a traffic stop for an equipment violation.

On September 27th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Austin Myers stopped a vehicle driven by Domonic Strong-Williams on 201 Lookout Drive in Old Hickory on an equipment violation. When approaching the vehicle, Officer Myers saw a baggy of marijuana on the gear shift.

After checking Strong-Williams’ identity through dispatch, he had an active warrant. Officer Myers performed a probable cause search that revealed a baggy of white powdered substance in the door handle of his driver’s side that Strong-Williams admitted was cocaine. There were also two sets of digital scales found.

Domonic Strong-Williams was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia as well as a violation of probation. He was released on a $4,500 bond.
