Shaky speeder in possession of heroin and syringes charged with DUI

41-year-old Jeffrey Pack was charged with driving under the influence as well as possession of heroin, cocaine, and paraphernalia after he told the police officer that he took Adderall to explain his shakiness but later admits to having cocaine.

On September 28th, Watertown Police Officer Deck stopped Jeffrey Pack for speeding. Officer Deck stated that Pack had rapid speech and was shaking tremendously. During questioning Pack, he was asked if he was on any medication or alcohol. Pack told Officer Deck that he had taken Adderall earlier that day.

Field sobriety tasks that were performed by Pack showed clues of impairment. Officer Deck did an inventory search of Pack’s vehicle where several syringes with white residue were found, Pack admitted that it was cocaine. A brown sticky substance, believed to be heroin was also found.

Jeffrey Pack was arrested and charged with driving under the influence as well as possession of heroin, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.
