Three-peat shoplifter locked in Walmart after attempt to flee

29-year-old Nicole Williamson was charged with burglary and theft of merchandise after she was locked in a local Walmart for stealing women’s clothing.

On October 9th, Lebanon Police Officer Jordan Affourtit was dispatched to Walmart located at 615 South Cumberland Street in Lebanon. He spoke to Loss Prevention Associate Jackie Carpenter who stated Nicole Williamson was caught shoplifting. She stated that Williamson stole a total of $72.98 worth of merchandise.

Williamson entered the store and selected female clothing and then placed it in her backpack. Ms. Carpenter mentioned she recognized Williamson from previous shoplifting incidents. Twice earlier in the year, July 13th and September 8th, Williams ran from Ms. Carpenter after being caught shoplifting. This time Ms. Carpenter locked the general merchandise door and locked Williamson inside until Police arrived.

Nicole Williamson was arrested and charged with burglary and three counts of theft of merchandise. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $5,500 bond.
