Woman admits that she was trying to inject heroin into her foot outside Dollar General

30-year-old Kayla Barger was charged with possession of meth, heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia when she was caught with various drugs and paraphernalia in her vehicle after police catch her in the middle of shooting up heroin in her car.

On October 27th, Lebanon Police Officer Parrish received a report of a woman injecting herself in the Dollar General parking lot located at 1028 Sparta Pike. Upon arrival, officers witnessed Kayla Barger pulling blood from her foot into a needle filled with an unknown substance. She admitted to the officer that the substance inside the needle was heroin.

The Officer ordered her to put the syringe down and get out of the vehicle. She complied then Officer Parrish searched the vehicle, rendering a syringe loaded with heroin, a glass pipe, and a burnt spoon. He reported that he was also able to find marijuana, half of a joint, a bowl with unsmoked weed inside, a baggy containing methamphetamine, and digital scales with residue on them. Officer proceeded to search the trunk and found a bag of used syringes on top of a box of unused ones. Officers then searched Barger in their system and discovered she had an active warrant out of Sullivan County, Tennessee.

Kayla Barger was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation. She was also discovered to have a warrant. She is currently jailed in lieu of an $8,500 bond.
