Woman attempts to claw boyfriend’s eyes out over mouthwash, per report

34-year-old Kapriel Trauernicht was charged with domestic assault when she scratched and struck her boyfriend after an argument over mouthwash, per report.

On November 20th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Wentzell responded to a domestic call in progress at a residence located at 112 SE Springdale Drive. Officer Wentzell observed Jay Henry, who was in the fetal position, being struck by Kapriel Trauernicht, who was on top of him. Henry told the officer that he and Trauernicht were arguing over mouthwash.

The officer’s report stated that the argument turned physical after Trauernicht began to hit him and Henry advised that she tried to claw his eyes out. Officer Wentzell noted that Henry had redness and scratches around his eye area and forehead. Trauernicht was determined to be the primary aggressor.

Kapriel Trauernicht was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She remains jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
