On October 29th, Mt. Juliet Police Department K9 Officer Barth responded to a missing 2-year-old child at Kroger located at 401 South Mt. Juliet Road. Capps told officers that she removed the child from the vehicle, took the child to her own vehicle, and waited for Strom to return. The officer’s report stated that Capps said this was not the first time Strom had left the child unattended for over 15 minutes. Officer Barth reported that Strom failed to protect the child’s well being.

Kimberly Strom was arrested and charged with child neglect. She was later released on a $2,000 bond.
