35-year-old Amara Haskell was charged with domestic assault after she became angry at her ex-boyfriend then she began to throw objects at him and struck him in the face and neck.
On October 14th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Richard Fialkowski reported to 792 Rolling Creek Drive in response to an assault call. Alejandro Andraca told Officer Fialkowski that his ex-girlfriend, Amara Haskell, and he ensued into an argument. He said that Haskell grew angry and began to throw objects that were located in the home they shared together. According to the police report, Haskell struck Andraca in the face and neck area.
Officer Fialkowski stated that he observed a bloody lip and a scratch on Andraca’s neck. Mark Leavell, a roommate, gave Officer Fialkowski an account of the assault, which equaled Andraca’s statement. The police report stated that Haskell claimed her actions were in self-defense.
Amara Haskell was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later released on her own recognizance, with conditions.
