“You didn’t help me last night when Nick shot at me,” woman says after breaking and entering

34-year-old Danielle Shapiro was charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, vandalism, and unlawful possession of a weapon after she broke into an old acquaintance’s home who she had not seen in years and pointed a gun at him for not helping her the night before.

On November 13th, Lebanon Police Officer Martin was dispatched to 719 Mulberry Street for an aggravated burglary call. Upon arrival, contact was made with Billy Harmon Jr. who stated that he was in his home when he heard glass breaking. He then advised that he saw Danielle Shapiro, whom he knew but had not seen in several years, holding a handgun.

Billy stated that he did not know what Danielle was talking about when she stated “you didn’t help me last night when Nick shot at me.” Billy believed she was under the influence of drugs and he ran out of the other side of the home. Cameras did catch pictures of Danielle with a handgun. The cost to replace the door was approximately $100.00.

Danielle Shapiro was arrested on November 17th, and charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, vandalism, and unlawful possession of a weapon. She is currently jailed in lieu of an $11,500 bond.
