Couple found passed out in running vehicle with Fentanyl, heroin, meth, and used needles

28-year-old Amelia Nash and 31-year-old Joshua Liberatore were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after they were reportedly found unconscious with drugs, pipes, used needles, and a ledger with records of sales in their van.

On November 24th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Clark reported a silver van with the engine running in a Staples parking lot, located at 401 South Mt. Juliet Road. The officer stated the driver, Joshua Liberatore, and passenger, Amelia Nash, were both unconscious in the vehicle, and Nash had a red straw in her hand.

A search of the van revealed .10 grams of Fentanyl, 1.10 grams of methamphetamine, and 3.5 grams of heroin, as well as several used needles, pipes, hundreds of small plastic bags, scales, and a ledger with recorded sales. Officer Clark advised he did not conduct any sobriety tests due to their level of intoxication. Liberatore admitted he used heroin earlier that day and pulled over due to being intoxicated. Nash was reported unconscious and slumped over a propane tank with a hoodie on top of the tank. When awoken, she was zoned out, and both her and Liberatore had pinpointed pupils.

Amelia Nash was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a $2,000 bond.

Joshua Liberatore was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and heroin for resale. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $71,500 bond.
