Girlfriend charged after “poking” man in the back with kitchen knife

22-year-old Ty’menah Person was charged with domestic aggravated assault after reportedly puncturing her boyfriend three times with a kitchen knife during a dispute.

On December 12th, Lebanon Police Officer Vance was dispatched to a residence at 360 Peyton Road concerning a domestic dispute in progress. Per the affidavit, he made contact with Ty’menah Person and her boyfriend, Johnny Smith.

Johnny stated that their argument became violent when she took a kitchen knife and pointed it at him. As he walked away from her, she poked him in the back three times, causing three small puncture wounds. Officer Vance saw the wounds and spoke with Ty’menah. She admitted to using the kitchen knife to make Johnny leave the apartment.

Ty’menah Person was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated assault. She was later released on a $5,000 bond.
