21-year-old Connor Jackson was charged with driving under the influence and violation of implied consent law after he flew past a police officer on South Cumberland and a female passenger fell off the back of his motorcycle, per the affidavit.
On November 22nd, Lebanon Police Officer Travis Rourke was on a traffic stop on South Cumberland when a motorcycle flew past him, and a female passenger fell off the back of it. Officer Rourke initiated a traffic stop on the motorcycle and found the driver to be Connor Jackson.
According to Officer Rourke’s report, Jackson had the odor of an intoxicant normally associated with an alcoholic beverage on and about his person, slurred speech, and red watery eyes. Jackson performed several standardized field sobriety tests, in which he showed clues of impairment. When Officer Rourke explained implied consent to Jackson, he refused to cooperate.
Connor Jackson was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and violation of implied consent law. He was later released on a $1,500 bond.
