23-year-old Matias Calo was charged with DUI after police witnessed him swerve across the center lane dividers into oncoming traffic.
On December 12th, Wilson County Sheriff’s Deputy Conner responded to a report of a reckless driver call in the area of Hartsville Pike. Upon arrival, the deputy witnessed the driver, Matias Calo, swerve across his lane and cross over the center double line dividers into oncoming traffic.
According to the report, Deputy Conner then conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Calo, who smelled of an intoxicant, had glassy bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. He also performed poorly on all of the sobriety tests the deputy initiated.
Matias Calo was arrested and charged with DUI. He was later released on his own recognizance.
