Lebanon man growls at police, asks if they “want some of him”

42-year-old Joseph Bainlardi was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication after police say he growled at them and asked if they “wanted some of him.”

On December 5th, Lebanon Police Officer Tucker Robert arrived at the residence of 420 Martin Avenue in response to a possible burglary call. Upon arrival, Officer Robert reported Joseph Bainlardi started yelling at him from across the street. According to the affidavit, Joseph approached the officer, growled at him, and asked if he “wanted some of him.”

Joseph exhibited signs of intoxication, such as red, watery eyes and slurred speech, and he smelled of alcohol. The officer told him to go back into his house but Joseph refused and continued yelling at him. It was noted that Joseph disturbed several people and was detained for his own safety.

Joseph Bainlardi was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication. He was later released on his own recognizance.
