Man charged with 9th DUI after driving on unidentified prescription meds and beer

54-year-old Sammy Beachboard was charged with driving under the influence after he reportedly crashed his vehicle while driving on prescription medication and a 30-ounce beer.

On December 5th, Lebanon Police Officer Fialkowski was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Lebanon Road. Per the affidavit, he met with Sammy Beachboard, who was the driver of the vehicle.

Sammy exhibited slurred speech and had difficulty walking and standing without assistance. He admitted to drinking a 30-ounce beer and taking prescription medications earlier in the day, but he could not advise what the medications were. He refused all field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. A computer check revealed that Sammy had eight prior DUIs in his driving history.

Sammy Beachboard was charged with driving under the influence. He was later released on his own recognizance.
