Man found stumbling in parking lot found with heroin

58-year-old Albert Raymer was charged with public intoxication, possession of heroin, and drug paraphernalia after police observed him stumbling around a parking lot and admitted to having heroin after being found with a syringe.

On December 12th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Favors responded to a report of a possibly impaired person at a business on South Mt. Juliet Road. Upon arrival, the officer witnessed Albert Raymer stumbling in the parking lot, stating he was looking for his car.

According to the affidavit, Raymer was unsteady on his feet and could not communicate with police. After he was detained, Officer Favors searched Raymer and found a syringe with residue and a small quantity of a powdery substance. It was noted that Raymer confirmed and identified the substance as heroin.

Albert Raymer was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of heroin, and drug paraphernalia. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $3,700 bond.
