Man grabs his children’s mother by the throat while arguing about a babysitter

37-year-old Jack Jarvis was charged with domestic assault after police say he grabbed his children’s mother by the throat during an argument about a babysitter.

On December 4th, Lebanon Police Officer Travis Rourke was dispatched to 323 Maple Crossing Drive for a domestic call. Upon arrival, contact was made with Stephanie Boatright, who stated she and Jack Jarvis, the father of her three children, had got into an argument about a babysitter.

According to the report, Jack then became angry and grabbed Stephanie by the throat, knocked her against the cabinets, and then punched the door of the pantry prior to leaving. Officers did notice a large lump on the back of her head.

Jack Jarvis was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $1,500 bond.
