Man misses turn and gets stuck, caught with four open beers on floorboard

24-year-old Colby Lebourgeois was charged with driving under the influence after police say he backed into an embankment and was found with four open Pabst beer containers in his vehicle.

On December 12th, Tennessee Highway Patrol Officer White responded to a call of a possible vehicle accident at Murfreesboro Road and Leanna Lane. The trooper observed a vehicle stuck on the northbound side of the road. The driver, Colby Lebourgeois, stated that he missed his turn and when he attempted to turn around, he backed into a steep embankment.

Trooper White observed that Colby had slurred speech, an odor of intoxicant on his breath and person, red watery eyes, and was unsteady on his feet. According to the report, he admitted to having four beers prior to driving. Trooper White discovered four open Pabst Blue Ribbon beer containers on the passenger floorboard. Colby showed multiple signs of impairment on all three field sobriety tests he performed.

Colby Lebourgeois was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on a $3,500 bond.
