Traffic stop reveals Suboxone, Gabapentin, glass pipe, and spoon

38-year-old Jeremy Simms was charged with driving with a revoked license, possession of Suboxone, possession of Gabapentin, and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over for a light violation.

On December 1st, Lebanon Police Officer Taylor conducted a traffic stop for a light law violation in the area of Dixie Avenue. The officer identified the driver as Jeremy Simms, whose license was revoked for a DUI in 2014. After Simms gave consent, Officer Taylor searched the vehicle, and he discovered three Gabapentin pills on the center of the seat.

According to the affidavit, there was a backpack containing a set of digital scales in the backseat, and a purple and white container in another bag that held a spoon and a crushed Suboxone pill. The officer also found a glass pipe in an eyeglass case.

Jeremy Simms was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license, possession of Suboxone, possession of Gabapentin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $3,000 bond.
