43-year-old John Anderson was charged with possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, Xanax, marijuana, marijuana wax, and drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over for a registration violation, per report.

On November 21st, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Christopher Barth noticed a vehicle that had a registration violation while he was at the McDonald’s located at 126 North Mt. Juliet Road. According to the affidavit, Officer Barth noticed a gun next to the driver, identified as John Anderson, during the traffic stop. Officer Barth asked Anderson if there were any illegal items in the car as he exited the vehicle by request of Officer Barth. Anderson admitted that there was marijuana in the car.

According to the officer’s report, a briefcase containing a plastic bag with .3 grams of marijuana was found. Also in the vehicle was .5 grams of cocaine, a keychain with .9 grams of methamphetamine inside, nine Xanax pills, a digital scale, seven glass pipes with residue, a silicone cylinder with suspected marijuana wax, and a plastic mat with suspected marijuana wax. Officer Barth stated that there were four Xanax pills in Anderson’s pocket.

John Anderson was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, Xanax, marijuana, marijuana wax, and drug paraphernalia. He was later released on a $5,000 bond.
