Mt. Juliet’s 27-year-old Evan Kelly Toby is charged with domestic assault of his wife. After a confrontation in their home which escalated to the point his wife attempted to call 911, Toby admits to slapping his wife’s hand and knocking the phone away, while threatening to harm himself if she called the police. He was ROR’d after a 12-hour domestic violence hold.

Woman charged with public intoxication and marijuana possession at Jonathan’s Grille — Courtney Bass

The manager of Jonathan’s Grille called police on an intoxicated female, identified as 28-year-old Courtney Alexandria Bass, who they wanted to trespass from the property. Police located her in the parking lot and placed her under arrest for public intoxication when she couldn’t locate her phone to arrange for an Uber. They also towed her car, in which they found .5 grams of marijuana, along with a grinder and a pipe. #PettyPolice

Teen returns home drunk after a party, destroys the outside of his family’s residence — Collin Johns

Police say 18-year-old Collin Johns came home drunk after a party and began destroying the outside of his family’s residence. He broke the two front pillars, a large light fixture, and damaged the swimming pool, causing over $3K in damage. He is free on a $4,500 bond.

National Guardsman DUI: “I’m done with tests, take me to jail” — Jason Davis arrested

35-year-old Jason Duane Davis was pulled over on I-840 by THP after he used the median to turn around. He admitted to drinking earlier in the day, and in the middle of field sobriety tests, stated “I’m done with tests, take me to jail!” The THP Trooper obliged, with a stop for a blood draw along the way. Davis is free on a $500 bond.

Mother says her daughter “bruises easy”, explaining her face after she assaulted her — Naomi Henry

57-year-old Naomi Henry was captured on video assaulting her 16-year-old daughter as she was cowering on the floor, covering her face in defense, and shrieking in fear. The mother took a friend with her to the daughter’s house and cornered her in a bedroom, saying she decided to “pop her in the face”, explaining her “children were being extremely rebellious, and she did not know how to handle them anymore”

Woman found yelling & cursing in middle of street after two glasses of wine — Jesse Ford

30-year-old Jesse Lynn Ford was found in the middle of the street, yelling and cursing about her kids, according to Mt. Juliet Police. Her boyfriend told police she had a couple of glasses of wine after work. During the investigation, she reportedly struck one of the police officers while yelling at them. She is charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer.

DUI: Cumberland football player found asleep behind wheel of car at intersection — Tonnor Segree

20-year-old Cumberland University football tight end Tonnor Woods Segree is charged with DUI and underage alcohol consumption after police say he was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle while heavily intoxicated. Police found beer cans in the vehicle and booked him into the Wilson County Jail after he showed impairment on multiple field sobriety tests. He was released on his own recognizance.

46-year-old Mikel Edwards is charged with domestic assault. His girlfriend says he became upset a black man was bunked above them in a local halfway house and took his anger out on her, punching her multiple times in her face, bruising both eyes.

Drive-Thru DUI: Woman charged after altercation in McDonald’s drive-thru line — Shelby Marie Anderson

24-year-old Shelby Marie Anderson is charged with DUI after an off-duty officer observed her get into an altercation with another individual while she was in the drive-thru line at McDonald’s on S. Cumberland in Lebanon.
