Suspicious man admits to having a glass pipe; found with meth

26-year-old Donnie McFarlin Jr. was charged with possession of methamphetamine after he was spotted as a “suspicious male” looking into a vehicle and when officers approached him and requested consent to search, he admitted to having a glass pipe on him.

On July 7th, an officer noticed a suspicious male looking into a vehicle at 300 Pleasant Grove Road in Mt. Juliet. The male was the defendant, Donnie McFarlin Jr., and was asked by the officer to have a pat-down search for weapons to which he agreed.

He told the officer that he had a glass pipe, the officer also found a cigarette pack with methamphetamine inside it. The estimated weight of the methamphetamine was close to 2.4 grams.

Donnie McFarlin Jr. was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $2,000.
