37-year-old Amanda Daniels is charged with theft of property after stealing pills from the Walgreens she worked at on South Cumberland St. in Lebanon, TN.
An investigation began through Walgreens Asset Protection Services after they discovered some pills had gone missing. A Walgreens Asset Protection employee stated that after reviewing the camera footage they discovered that Amanda Daniels had been taking pills from the bottles and pocketing them.
Daniels admitted to taking the medication for personal use after her husband passed. She admitted to taking Hydrocodone, Alprazolam, and Adderal totaling $1407.65.
Amanda Daniels was charged with theft of property and is free on a $2500.00 bond.
