Witnesses to the accident explained to officers they followed Eduardo and he had been speeding and weaving between the lanes with no regard for safety prior to rear-ending another vehicle. The witness also advised that Eduardo had thrown an alcohol container underneath his car before police arrived on the scene. Due to the language barrier and increasing traffic, no field sobriety tests could be given. Following witness testimony and the officer’s observation, Eduardo Ramirez-Cano was placed into custody. After reviewing his driver’s license records officers discovered that he did not have a valid driver’s license.

Eduardo Ramirez-Cano was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving without a valid license. His bond was set at $1,000.
