Man breaks wife’s nose with his fist after accusing her of cheating, police say

35-year-old Ronnie Christopher Glover is charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest after Mt. Juliet Police say he left his wife with a ‘visibly broke nose’ that was bleeding profusely with an additional ‘fist-shaped’ mark on her face.

Officers were dispatched to Parrish Place due to a domestic incident on January 11th. Upon arrival, officers made contact with both the victim and her husband, Ronnie Glover. She stated that she had come back home from being out with friends and Ronnie accused her of cheating on him and grabbed her phone. As she attempted to retrieve her phone from Ronnie he punched her in the face and again on the side of her head, according to an arrest warrant.

Officers stated that the victim’s nose was visibly broken and she was bleedy profusely and had a fist-shaped red mark below her ear. When Officer Myers attempted to take Ronnie into custody he crossed his arms and refused to bend them in order to be handcuffed. Ronnie also ignored Officer Stogner’s loud repetitive commands to comply. Despite Ronnie resisting he was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Ronnie Glover, 35, is charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest and has posted a $2000.00 bond via Watkins Bonding. He is scheduled to appear in court in April.
