Woman charged with public intox after she was denied one-night stand; slips cuffs

27-year-old Summer Mick is charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest after her friend’s father told her she could not bring a random man she met at a bar to his house while staying with them.

Lebanon Police say Summer Elise Mick was spending time with her friend Amber Radney who was visiting her father in Inman Court. Amber and Summer had gone to a bar in Nashville where Summer met a man she wanted to “bring home.” Amber’s father said that he did not want anyone coming to his home and Summer became angry and punched Amber in the mouth. Amber’s father asked Summer to leave and she called the police. When officers arrived and began interviewing the parties involved, Summer was outside yelling and screaming due to her high level of intoxication.

Officer Ariel Carrillo reported that Summer had red, watery eyes, smelled of alcohol, and was slurring her speech. She was deemed a danger to herself and the public and was placed under arrest. While Officer Carrillo was attempting to handcuff her Summer began resisting by “wrenching her arms away” and once handcuffed she managed to get out of them. Officer Carrillo gave her multiple, loud commands to stop resisting and Summer was eventually taken into custody and transported to booking.

Summer Mick was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest and was later released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court in February.
