26-year-old Connor House was charged with aggravated assault and evading arrest when his friends said he hit one of them with his ride. He then outran officers in a high-speed chase.
On March 19th, Deputy Butler responded to a domestic call on Lakeshore Drive in Mount Juliet. According to the affidavits, officers were flagged down by Michael Mahoney, Arion Holt, and Wyatt Osteen. Mr. Mahoney told officers that he asked House to vacate the premises and as he was reversing in the driveway he abruptly shifted his vehicle into drive. This caused House’s vehicle to hit Mr. Mahoney, knocking him from his feet.
As the victim was giving his statement officers observed House drive past the residence and followed in pursuit. When House reached an excessive speed the officer aborted his chase and returned to the scene where he viewed corroborating security footage. When officers reached House via telephone he denied that the incident had occurred.
On March 21st, Connor House was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and evading arrest. His bond was set at $5,000.
