Mount Juliet father charged after beating his Physician Assistant wife to protect kids from coronavirus

33-year-old Brendan Negron was charged with aggravated assault after police say he punched his wife in the face, hit her with a barstool, and threatened to kill her when she wouldn’t leave the house. Mrs. Negron works in a hospital and he is afraid his children will contract the novel coronavirus.

On March 18th, Officer Samuel Elliot reported to Ridge Crest Drive to investigate a domestic dispute. According to the affidavit, he located Kelsi Negron sitting in her vehicle. She explained to the officer that she and husband Brendan Negron had an altercation because she works in a hospital and he fears for the safety of his kids being around anyone who may have contracted the coronavirus.

Mrs. Negron refused to leave the home at which point Brendan hit her with a barstool and punched her in the face. Brendan told her would kill her if she did not vacate the premises. Brendan Negron would not venture outside of his home and refused to talk to authorities.

Brendan Negron was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Way to make the victim the villain. Liberal outlet starving for an audience exploiting a pandemic for readership. Seems you’d be a little more concerned with domestic violence. That was in the shadow of the pandemic today though. Your choice, Shift your attention from the victims to the top story of the day. Pathetic!
