Mt. Juliet mother charged after threatening to burn house down if DCS is called

30-year-old Hilary Robertson was charged with domestic assault after she was involved in an argument with her boyfriend and when her father told her he was recording the altercation to call DCS, she told him that she would “burn the house down with him in it”, per report.

On May 15th, WCSO Deputy Joseph Darbonne received a call regarding a disorderly subject at 3264 Underwood Road. When Darbonne arrived, victim and father Ralph Robertson Sr. claimed that his daughter, Hilary Robertson, was arguing with her boyfriend Kristopher Wheeler.

As the altercation continued, Robertson Sr. began to film the argument. His daughter then asked what he was doing, to which he replied that he was taping for the Department of Children’s Services and was going to call them, per the affidavit.

Upon hearing her father’s explanation, Robertson said to her father that if he did call Child Protective Services, she was going to burn the down with him inside of it. She then tried to grab the phone from Robertson Sr., striking his arm and grabbing his hands in attempts to obtain the device.

Hilary Robertson was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.
