Nashville man caught driving in Mt. Juliet had license revoked in 1997

56-year-old Danny Summers was charged with theft of property and driving on a revoked license when the borrowed vehicle he was driving was reported for the stolen plate. Summers’ license was revoked in 1997.

On May 11th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Foutch responded to a license plate recognition hit at Highways 70 and 109. The plate had been reported stolen from Nashville in January.

According to the affidavit, the driver was identified as Danny Summers, who told authorities he was driving a borrowed vehicle and had no idea the plate was stolen. Summers could not supply his license and officers discovered it was revoked in Georgia in 1997.

Danny Summers was arrested and charged with theft of property and revoked driver’s license. He was later released on his own recognizance.
