24-year-old Emily Bolin was charged with domestic assault after her mother started recording their argument and she knocked the phone out of her hand, threw it out the door, and pushed her when she tried to retrieve it.
On May 24th, Lisa Moffitt said her daughter came to her home at 1208 Clinton Place and started beating on the door. Moffitt opened the door, and the two began to verbally argue. Moffitt was recording the argument, as she says Emily Bolin has attacked her previously.
Bolin knocked the phone out of her mom’s hands. When her mother went to get the phone, Moffitt says Emily pushed her from behind. Moffitt says she believes Emily may be on drugs. And, she told the officer she feared for her safety. The officer watched the video.
Emily Bolin was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,500.
