Trailer home is the victim of Hermitage man’s second DUI

40-year-old Omar Douglass was charged with DUI after admitting to drinking a liter of beer prior to him driving his vehicle into a trailer home, per report.

On June 13th, Deputy Bandy reported to a single-car crash into a trailer home located at 2964 Old Lebanon Dirt Road with the defendant, Omar Douglass, as the driver of the vehicle. The deputy described Douglass with the smell of alcohol on his breath as well as watery red eyes, slurred speech, and unsteady on his feet.

Douglass showed impairment on all of his standardized field sobriety tests then admitted to drinking a liter of beer before he drove. He was previously convicted of a DUI in Davidson County on May 5th, 2016.

Omar Douglass was arrested and charged with his second DUI. His bond was set at $2,000.
