Lebanon man crashes his vehicle and admits to police that he drank before driving

22-year-old Tyler Higdon was charged with a DUI after he crashed and admitted to drinking alcohol prior to driving, per report.

On July 19th, an officer arrived at a single-vehicle property damage crash off of Franklin Road in Lebanon. The driver was identified as the defendant, Tyler Higdon. In addition to smelling like alcohol, the officer stated that he was unsteady on his feet and had red watery eyes.

After admitting that he had been drinking before he drove, the officer required him to perform a standard field sobriety test. He showed signs of impairment in multiple tasks.

Tyler Higdon was arrested and charged with DUI. He was later released on his own recognizance.
