37-year-old Timothy McManama was charged with possession of meth, heroin, Xanax, ecstasy, and drug paraphernalia after officers discovered the drugs during a traffic stop. More was found “in his glutes” during a booking search.
On August 16th, Deputy Matt Lanius was on patrol when he witnessed a vehicle with a light law violation on Interstate 40 Westbound 236 mile marker. Initially, it seemed to Deputy Lanius as though the vehicle would not stop but the driver eventually pulled over. Upon speaking with the driver, who advised the officer that there was a “rig” in his floorboard. With probable cause to search, Deputy Lanius requested the driver and passenger Timothy McManama exit the vehicle.
Timothy advised the officer that there was a pill bottle in the back seat containing his viagra. Deputy Lanius recovered the pill bottle and verified its contents, along with seventeen Xanax cut in half, four Viagra, a folded paper that contained heroin, and one light blue pill with a shield printed on it later found to be MDMA. Inside a shopping bag, along with a few essential items the deputy found a set of digital scales. When officers asked if he had any other contraband before his processing was completed, Timothy admitted that he had twenty-something grams of meth in his glutes. Deputy Lanius had Timothy remove the 25 grams of meth himself.
Timothy McManama was charged with possession of meth, heroin, Xanax, ecstasy, and drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $28,000.
