33-year-old Crystal Akridge was charged with theft of merchandise and criminal trespass after she was caught at the Mt. Juliet Walmart skip scanning.
August 8th, Mt. Juliet Police Officer Brown was dispatched to the Mt. Juliet Walmart at 300 Pleasant Grove Road in reference to a couple who were skip scanning their items at the self check out.
Crystal Akridge was trespassed from Walmart nine years ago and was not allowed to be in the store. She had skip scanned $113.16 worth of merchandise, by only scanning select items and not paying for the others.
Crystal Akridge was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise and criminal trespass and she is jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
