When Officer Winfree arrived he found the subject, who he identified as Rona Litus, running to another house. Rona had run over her neighbor’s fence and damaged their patio furniture. The officer reported that Rona had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and person, red blood-shot eyes, and was unsteady on her feet. Rona advised that she drank a pint of liquor prior to driving and refused field sobriety tests. This was Rona’s first DUI offense.

Rona Litus was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to report. She was later released on her own recognizance.
